About This Tour

After meeting your guide at the designated meeting location, you will move the Imjingak park. On the way, you can hear interesting history about Korean war. It'll help you to understand DMZ better.

The suspension bridge, locates in Mt. Gamak and the heroic battle of British troops took place in the Korean War.

Imjingak Park, locates 7 km from the Military Demarcation Line, is well known for its related to the Korean War. You can check Mangbaedan and the Bridge of Freedom. Also, you can visit Dokgae Bridge. This bridge was blown up while the Korean war and reconstructed.

And then let's explore The 3rd Tunnel. It spans over 1,635m in length, 2m in width, and 2m in height and is located 52km from Seoul.

From Dora Observatory, you can overlook North Korea and various locations. If you are lucky, you can even see people who is living and working there.

The 3rd Tunnel was discovered by South Korea in 1978. It spans over 1,635m in length, 2m in width, and 2m in height and is located 52km from Seoul. It is estimated that approximately 30,000 soldiers could move through the tunnel per hour.

From this Dora Observatory, you can overlook North Korea and various locations including Gaeseong, Songaksan, Kim Il-Sung Statue, and Cooperation Farm (Geumamgol).

Gamaksan Chulleong Bridge, a suspension bridge has 150m length and 1.5m width locates in Solma-ri where Battle of Solma-ri, aka Battle of Gloster Hill held in 1951.
The battle of Solma-ri is one of the representative battles fought by UN forces in the Korean War and has important meaning as it is recorded as a representative battle of isolation defense.
During the battle, about 650 British troops sacrifice themselves against 25,000 Chinese troops for three days and it allows the UN forces to redeploy their troops to stop the Chinese invasion of Seoul.
